Toros Group Posture Corrector Reviews
In this review of Toros Group Posture Corrector, we will find out whether the brace works, who it is for and where you can buy it.
Let’s get started.
The Toros Group posture brace is designed to help people with winged scapula, kyphoscoliosis, lordosis, and kyphosis. The brace can also be used for general posture correction and is recommended by physiotherapists for aiding in recovery after injury or surgery of the collar bone (clavicle) or spine. When worn, the device prevents the spine from curving,
The Toros posture corrector is available in 6 sizes. The product is not designed in standard US sizing. Therefore, you should use the size chart provided by the company. The sizes of the brace range from XS to XXL, which can fit a 23.5” to 47.5” waist.
Check the size chart image below for information on the correct sizing.
To benefit from the brace, you should wear it for short periods as is comfortable at the beginning. From there, you should wear the support brace for a minimum of three to four hours every day.
The adjustable support brace has lumbar pads that make it comfortable to wear. You can adjust both the waist and shoulders.
The Toros Support Brace is designed to be worn with a cotton undershirt or directly under the skin. However, this is not a hidden posture corrector as it is quite bulky and hence can be uncomfortable to wear at work. The best option would be to wear the posture corrector at home.
The Toros posture corrector is made of cotton and elastic material. The brace also has Velcro fastenings and metals for supporting its structure. The device is comfortable to wear but can make you swear if the weather is warm.
There are many positive reviews of Toros Support Brace at Amazon. From the reviews, it is clear the posture aid is comfortable and helps to improve posture. However, there are a few complaints about sizing. Moreover, some people do not feel the corrector provides as much support as they needed.
My Review of the Toros Group Posture Corrector
I’m almost 38” at the waist and so, I ordered the Large size corrector. I had never tried a brace with so much torso support as the Toros Group corrector. Therefore, I was looking forward to trying it on.
However, when the posture corrector arrived, it was too small. I couldn’t get it close to stretching around the stomach area. I think I may have ordered a smaller size brace because the sizing chart is not based on US sizes.
Anyway, I requested for an exchange and got a new, XXL Torso Group brace. This larger brace fits much better.
It is easy to put on the Torso Group support brace. You can also adjust the straps for maximum tightness. However, the brace is quite bulky. I wouldn’t, therefore, recommend wearing it under clothing.
I wore the brace at home for about half an hour on minimal tightness. I loved it. The brace worked great, applying pressure on my back to straighten it. I also wore the brace while driving and it’s comfortable.
When worn under the clothes, some bulges of the brace stick out. However, my overall experience with the brace was positive.
The brace’s torso support doubles as back support when you are working around the house or lifting heavy equipment. The brace is made from quality materials and does not easily become loose.
The only thing I can think of that may make you hesitant to buy the Torso support brace is that it pulls the shoulders back. If you do not fasten it correctly, you can end up with one shoulder being tighter than the other.
Moreover, I usually don’t like braces that pull the shoulders back. Studies have shown that improving spinal alignment and training the back muscles is the best way of achieving the correct posture.
Below is an overview of how to wear the Toros Group Support Brace:
- High-quality brace for the price
- Also works as a lower back brace
- Easy to put on. You do not need any help to get in on and pull the shoulder and waist straps tight
- The posture corrector is firm and can be adjusted to fit well
- Refunds and replacements offered
- The corrector is quite bulky. It can show through your clothes, make you look bigger and make moving somehow difficult
- Cannot be worn under the clothes. Thus, you will be limited to wearing it in the car or at home
- Pulls the shoulders back
- It can be difficult to get the right size brace. If the brace is too large, the straps will hang down in front of you
The Toros Group support brace is one of the best posture correctors in the market. The corrector is made of high-quality materials and straight-up works.
However, do not expect it to meet all your needs. For one, I was not happy that it pulls the shoulders back. Also, make sure you check the size before ordering. I would advise you to order one size up what you think would fit you.
